Conservative Future

Conservative Future (CF) was launched at the Conservative Party’s Annual Conference in 1998. CF combines three long-standing previous youth organisations: The Young Conservatives (YC's), Conservative Students and Conservative Graduates. Anyone under the age of 30 is automatically a member of Conservative Future as well as a member of a local branch.

ORGANISED BY YOUNG PEOPLE, FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, TO REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF YOUNG PEOPLE

Benefits of membership include:

  • invitations to specially organised local, national and international social and political events
  • direct influence on the development of local and national policies and key policies of the Conservative party as it prepares for the next General election
  • a vote in the election of the leader of the Conservative party
  • a vote in the annual local and national Conservative Future elections

Join Conservative Future to become a member of the most active and fastest-growing youth movement in modern politics. CF now has over 15,000 members, who apart from the benefits listed above, have the opportunity to get involved in campaign activity, supporting and standing as Conservative candidates in elections at all levels, from student politics to Westminster.

If you believe in principles such as freedom, enterprise, personal, community and business responsibility and are concerned about the environment, social justice and the health and education of not only your generation but future generations join like-minded young people. Whether you are studying, have already started your career; whether you are single, in a committed relationship or married; whether you were born and bred in this country of have moved here during your youth; whether you have lots of spare time or very little join this group and have some serious fun.

Even though special CF events are organised members are always welcome at all R&SECA events especially meetings of the Policy Forum and members regularly get involved with campaigning activities.

If you wish to join (membership is just £5 per year) or to know more about the CF activities please contact Carole Barber @ rochandsouthendeca@btconnect.com
